DAF T1300 “Frog” Recovery Vehicle
In January 1963, this DAF T1300 “Kikker” first hit the road new in the Netherlands.
This DAF was most likely originally purchased by Shell and had the original "Shell Yellow" color.
Later, this DAF was converted into a recovery vehicle and subsequently used by a small workshop in Brabant.
After the passing of the original garage owner, his son had the vehicle fully restored.
The vehicle has been completely repainted in red, and the brakes, vacuum pump, etc., have also been replaced.
This most likely took place around the year 2000.
The operation of the superstructure is manual; the winch is operated via an intermediate shaft.
The boom is also extendable and there is a manual scoop as well.
The DAF is equipped with a 6-cylinder petrol engine (Type: BA475), 2 storage boxes, and 2 hydraulic couplings at the rear of the cab.
It is very likely that the mileage of 19,643 km is original!
