DAF T1300 “Frog” Recovery Vehicle

In January 1963, this DAF T1300 “Kikker” first took to the road in the Netherlands.
This DAF was most likely originally purchased new by Shell and came in the original “Shell Yellow” color.
Later, this DAF was converted into a recovery vehicle and then operated by a small workshop in Brabant.
After the passing of the original garage owner, his son had the vehicle fully restored.
The vehicle has been completely repainted in red, and the brakes, vacuum pump, etc. have been replaced.
This likely took place around the year 2000.
The operation of the superstructure is manual, and the winch is driven via a transfer shaft.
The boom is also extendable and there is a manual jib as well.
The DAF is equipped with a 6-cylinder petrol engine (type: BA475), 2 storage boxes, and 2 hydraulic couplings at the rear of the cab.
It is very likely that the odometer reading of 19,643 km is original!
