DAF T1300 'Frog' recovery vehicle
In January 1963, this DAF T1300 'Kikker' was first registered on the road in the Netherlands.
It was most likely originally purchased by Shell and delivered in the original 'Shell Yellow' color.
Later, this DAF was converted into a recovery vehicle and subsequently used by a small workshop in Brabant.
After the death of the original garage owner, his son had the vehicle fully restored.
The vehicle was completely repainted in red; additionally, the brakes, vacuum pump, and other components were replaced.
This likely took place around the year 2000.
The superstructure is operated manually; the winch is powered by an intermediate shaft.
The boom is also extendable, and there is a manual scoop as well.
The DAF is equipped with a 6-cylinder petrol engine (Type: BA475), 2 storage boxes, and 2 hydraulic couplings at the rear of the cabin.
The mileage reading of 19,643 km is very likely original!
