MERCEDES-BENZ Vario 814D Diff Klima Standh120km/h restauriert

Restored and newly painted MB Vario 814D from official ownership / Federal Police. Configured as a bus (group vehicle) MR / high roof with full climate control, auxiliary heating, ABS and differential lock on the rear axle, as well as a retarder, which is a wear-free electromagnetic eddy current brake for speed regulation.

We have professionally repaired the bodywork and repainted it in a two-tone grey/white finish, except for the roof. For this, we removed, disassembled, and treated the windows and doors, then reinstalled them after painting. The frame and chassis components have also been thoroughly de-rusted and refinished with a multi-layer paint system.

On the technical side, we performed a full inspection with engine oil and brake fluid changes, replaced all 4 batteries, overhauled both the air conditioning and auxiliary heating, and upgraded the plastic glazing in the driver’s cab to real glass.

Thanks to its good insulating properties, the plastic glazing has been retained in the rear section of the vehicle.

This Vario is now fully ready for years of use to come.

The air conditioning and auxiliary heating are highly effective here:

1.) The air conditioning has two evaporators and outlet vents above each passenger seat in the passenger compartment.
2.) The auxiliary heating is a hot water circulation heater with convectors in the passenger area for draft-free heating.

Maximum speed according to documents: 120 km/h.

Total of 11 seats; passenger compartment seats are reclining armchairs with adjustable backrests and armrests. The left inner seats can also be shifted about 10 cm into the aisle for more freedom of movement. There are a total of three effective roof hatches.

Interior dimensions from the driver’s seat: 4000 x 1850 x 1900 mm (L x W x H).

For an additional charge of €750, we can carry out a technical conversion to a special-purpose vehicle (motorhome) with reduction of seating positions. Up to 8 seats are possible due to available space. The Vario will also be fitted with an external 220V power supply in this context.
