We are parting with our "Corona bus" with a heavy heart. Registered as a motorhome since October 2021, it has mainly served us for a few test and vaccination assignments, and was only rarely used for private purposes. The bus comes from Switzerland, where it was previously in state ownership and used as an intercity bus. The rollover bars, etc., are presumably made of stainless steel. We have recently had the windows newly tinted. In addition to the original auxiliary heater, there are two more auxiliary heaters installed in the bus, each with 6 kW output. The rear door is equipped with a fold-out wheelchair ramp, also making loading for holidays much easier. As a motorhome, it can be driven with a truck driving license thanks to the 8+1 seats, all fitted with automatic three-point seat belts. The pneumatic height adjustment is ideal for, for example, boarding ferries. There isn’t enough space here to list all the special features and details that distinguish this motorhome. As an intercity bus, it has a standard gearbox and is capable of 100 km/h, not being electronically restricted like a city bus. Since 2021, it has been stored indoors with us (as it was previously in Switzerland). Inspection (TÜV) is due. Around 650,000 km, the transmission was reportedly replaced preventively in Switzerland, so it should give you peace of mind for the next years. The retarder works as it should. The large panoramic windscreen offers outstanding visibility, a real pleasure, and is also equipped with an electrically adjustable sunblind. A reversing camera has also been installed. Built in 2003, its new life as a motorhome began in October 2021 after reclassification. The pneumatically damped driver's seat ensures comfortable and relaxed driving, even over long distances. In addition to the included snow chains, it is equipped with so-called automatic traction chains mounted underneath the bus. It is known that one of the height adjustment air valves is sticking, likely due to standing idle for two years, and the left headlight may have an intermittent contact. In 2025, new batteries were installed, the motorhome starts up perfectly and is truly enjoyable to drive. Yes, it is still registered. We are offering it to the first buyer who does not try to negotiate (smile), as we have sold our garage space as of the end of February 2026.
