Original German vehicle.
In service with a small municipality until 2026, initially with the fire department and later with the public works yard.
This vehicle has a civilian truck registration as a "closed box truck" and there are officially 9 full seats recorded in the papers.
The vehicle was operated as a multipurpose vehicle (MZF), after which it was used to transport the municipality’s lawnmower. Only one of the seat benches is permanently installed. Two of the three benches have not been needed in recent years and are included loose. The original seat belts and mounting bolts are also included. A folding table with radio handset is still mounted on the left side and an original, large fire brigade first aid kit is integrated into the conversion.
Engine: OM 602, 5-cylinder naturally aspirated diesel with 2874 cc. The engine always starts perfectly and initially runs completely smooth, but after about 20 seconds at idle, the running behavior deteriorates significantly and smoke develops. When operating temperature is reached, the smoke dissipates and the engine runs smoothly again, almost normally. The engine is either severely worn or there is existing engine damage. No precise diagnosis to date.
The vehicle drives immediately and works fine; even the usual engine power was fully and consistently available during a short test drive, but we do not guarantee roadworthiness. Repairs will certainly be required in the short term!
For driving short distances or loading onto a RoRo ship in port for Africa under its own power, this 310 D still functions with no apparent issues.

Body with individual rust spots, overall still comparatively well preserved due to years of garage storage. The passenger door window is broken and has been fitted with a plastic sheet. The paintwork has been touched up in black along the lower panels.
Apparently, the vehicle was always very well maintained by the fire department – unfortunately not afterward!
When opening the sliding door, a large mechanical step extends automatically.
Unladen weight: 2,370 kg.
Gross vehicle weight: 3,200 kg.
Overall external vehicle dimensions: Length 5,345 mm / Width 1,975 mm / Height 2,680 mm.
The tyres (205R14C) are from 2013, are not porous, and have about 50-60% tread remaining.
The vehicle is primarily intended for export or for genuine Bremen transporter enthusiasts looking for a completely unvarnished basis for restoration. MOT (TÜV) expired as of 12/2025, will not be renewed. We do not have our own workshop. The purchase price has been deliberately set attractively, as genuinely good comparable vehicles are now mostly traded for twice as much or even more. Personal inspection is highly recommended due to the defects and can be arranged by appointment.
