Knaus Boxstar 630 Freeway Mezzo, as new, currently costs almost €70,000 new with accessories – I am regretfully selling due to non-use. SUPER EQUIPPED, ESPECIALLY FOR INSULATION AND TEMPERATURES DOWN TO -40°C – complete insulation of the entire motorhome for minus 40 degrees. FOR SALE ONLY DUE TO LACK OF USE. SOLAR PANELS – 80 cm satellite dish with SAT TV that receives all channels, even at North Cape at minus 40°C. Entirely upgraded anti-freeze water system with external water pump and expansion vessel to reduce water hammer effect; pressure regulator, no. 2 internal freshwater tanks (heated), total approx. 200 liters. Four different heating systems: Truma diesel and electric heater with hot water boiler supplying two different water temperatures for the entire living quarters, plus an additional Webasto AirTop 6000W diesel heater with completely separate ducting, heating both the cab and living cell. Waste water recovery tank completely insulated with marine plywood and fiberglass as well as 3 additional heating coils, including at the grey water drain points—so at -40°C, grey water drains out steaming hot. Additional Webasto Thermo Top C 3800 engine heater, modified to raise engine coolant temperature to 80°C, delivers hot air to the cab windows and throughout, plus a heat exchanger in the living cell – in short, even when it’s -40°C outside, you can wear a tank top inside.

Completely refitted kitchen with fridge and freezer + top-of-the-range oven/grill with microwave, allowing you to cook anything, even better than at home, with domestic 220V current. Fully enclosed bathroom with WC, sink, shower, and removable, externally accessible (heated compartment) cassette toilet. 3500W inverter provides household-grade current for all systems. Beautiful, unique TEC 29 generator with max load of 3500kW, petrol, mounted under the vehicle with stainless steel compartment, also insulated and air-heated, starts reliably at -40°C, with internal start switch and oil level indicator.

The motorhome has been COMPLETELY REBUILT FOR EXTENDED SOLITARY STAYS AT EXTREMELY LOW TEMPERATURES, with input and designs from WEBASTO INTERNATIONAL engineers.

10kg LPG bottle compartment, fully heated with external vent, used exclusively for kitchen hob, copper pipes routed inside the van in an anti-freeze position.

Excellent engine, fully serviced, tow bar rated for 2500kg maximum towing capacity. Just serviced/MOT passed; enlarged diesel tank (110 liters) gives range of over 1,000 km on a full tank, very low fuel consumption. Euro 6+ 185 HP engine offers excellent performance. Reinforced and height-adjustable chassis with air suspension, easily adjustable up to 10 cm from inside. Torsen anti-slip differentials for icy roads and climbs – never needed snow chains even on icy slopes and restarts – excellent, new winter tires with high-speed rating, suitable for summer use as well. Mud flaps on all wheels. Fly screens on entry door and windows with insulated blackout blinds for heat/cold. Living area climate system operates on both 12V and 220V.
