Furthermore, only one driver has ever used it, and the two beds have never been slept in—at most, only a jacket has ever been placed on them. The vehicle was custom-built for transporting classic cars, from pre-war Horch, Maybach, and Mercedes SSK models to the 300 SL Gullwing. It has only been used for events such as the Goodwood Revival in the UK, etc. We believe there is no other Atego in such a condition—this vehicle could go straight into the museum in Stuttgart. All maintenance has been carried out consistently at the same Mercedes-Benz workshop, which has been operating for 60 years. The body can be secured all around, and the sliding tarpaulins open on both sides, to the front and rear.
