Chassis – Semitrailer for Freight Forwarding
Fine-grain steel welded construction, fifth wheel plate with replaceable 2" kingpin, mounting position for warning signs at the rear, outer frame with "Load-Lock profile" for lashing strap hooks, 24 ton, 2-speed landing gear, single-side operation, ferry lashing eyes, yellow marked, with 2 at the rear as towing eyes, container locks: 4 pairs of container locks recessed in the floor for 2 x 20-foot or 1 x 40-foot containers, stake pockets recessed in the outer frame, internal dimension 80 x 80 mm, centre stake pockets recessed in the floor, 80 x 80 mm, removable stakes B=80 / D=80 / L=1200 mm, hot-dip galvanised, lashing eyes recessed in the outer frame, 5 ton each, 2 storage boxes approx. W=1230 / H=450 mm, fitted closed across the full width in front of the axles, instead of side underrun protection, frontmost locking as insertable pin, transverse lashing/ stake rails recessed in the floor across the full width to the outer frame, approx. 100 mm high, fitted with 20 mm round steel rods top and bottom, vertical spacing approx. 60 mm, bottom with angle plate at the end, half open downwards. For lashing and fitting of 80 x 80 mm stakes. Storage compartment for warning signs, open, according to technical feasibility.

Axles & Suspension
SAF disc brake axles (axle/chassis laser-aligned) to reduce tyre wear and fuel consumption, air suspension, first axle with automatic lift function, including automatic lowering and drive-off aid, operated by “3x brake”, two ride heights adjustable via hand button:
- 1 x for coupling height 1120 mm
- 1 x for coupling height 1200 mm

Braking System
2-line compressed air braking system, colour-coded pipe routing for easy servicing, spring-loaded parking brake, 2 fail-safe Coupling heads at front, EBS (Electronic Braking System) with EBS socket at the front, with raise and lower valve, vehicle stability control.

Wheels and Tyres
385/65 R 22.5" steel rims, finished in factory silver.

Electrics
24 volts, 4 x 3-chamber tail lights, yellow LED side marker lights,
2 white LED position lights at the front,
2 white/red LED lane marker lights at the rear,
2 x 7-pin and 1 x 15-pin fail-safe sockets at the front, without connecting cable,

rotating beacon with bracket controlled via parking light (removable beacon),
2 pairs of warning signs, double LED illuminated, extendable to 4500 mm and removable with plug connector.
With additional bracket at the rear.
Additional 7-pin socket (to ISO 1724) in rear underrun protection.

Floor
Birch plywood flooring approx. 30 mm thick, cross joints with omega inlay, mounted on longitudinal beams for high point load capacity, suitable for forklift axle load up to max. 7100 kg.

Front Bulkhead / Front Corner Posts
25 mm aluminium hollow profile, 1650 mm high, corner posts in steel (volume type),
front wall interior additionally reinforced with 1250 mm high birch plywood,
"Crash Blocker", lower interior approx. 140 mm high with steel impact protection,
stake storage 80 x 80 mm on front wall inside.

Painting / Coating
Frame: Hot-dip galvanised including passivation or painted as per customer.
Landing gear: Black coated
Front corner posts: galvanised and painted in bulkhead colour.
Bulkhead: natural aluminium or painted as per customer
