Operating Notes
For transporting salt, lime, etc., we recommend a tipping cylinder with a hard-chrome plated piston rod to prevent material-induced corrosion and rusting.
The specified total weight is technically feasible. Depending on the load material, the gross weight may not be achievable under observance of permitted axle, support, and fifth wheel loads.
Note! Not suitable for chemically aggressive media (e.g. acids, chlorine compounds, sulfur compounds, “refuse derived fuels”); such media can, especially with moisture, cause stress corrosion and severe cracking of the body!
Vehicles with loading bodies are intended for non-chemically aggressive cargos. Use for transporting aggressive substances (acids, alkalis, salts, fertilizers, sewage sludge, municipal waste) is at your own risk. This may result in stress cracking or pitting damage.
